Triphala
 
A powerful Ayurvedic digestive & cleansing herb formula of the Ayurvedic herbs amalaki, bibhitaki and haritaki.
It’s bitter and astringent qualities help tonify the tissues, stimulate peristalsis for regular digestion and combat indigestion, gas, bloating, sluggish digestion (manda agni), constipation and diarrhea (Tikshna agni or Vata).
Rejuvenative for pitta, blood, bones, liver, heart.

Can be too drying for Vata – if you find Triphala being to dry for you, have it with a little bit of ghee/coconut oil in warm water (optionally).
 
Moreover, Triphala is a great rejuvenating for all tissues and the brain, great detoxifier and blood purifier with its cleansing action, it reduces ama (accumulation of toxins), beneficial in removing excess heat, can enhance immunity,  help digestive issues and aid weight loss, reduces bone & joint pains, flushed uric acid, high in antioxidants and Vitamin C (amla berry) and great for nails & teeth, oral hygiene, eyesight and stops bleeding and inflammation (incl. stomach ulcers), cleanses intestines, reduces blood sugar, improves appetite.
